You know, I am on several do follow blog rolls with this blog. At the time, it seemed like a cool thing to do, give out content, get comments, give some juice back to my readers. Lately though, and by lately I mean pretty much since I started this blog, I’ve had more spammenters than commenters. You know what I am talking about. People who drop by and leave a comment on the lead post no matter what it’s about or how old it is. And people with weird names like medicare advantage. Seriously, I have eight children, and I never for even a second considered calling one of them Medicare, Golf, or Vacation. Let me tell you what I do to people who have weird names like that: I secretly change them to real names like Susan, John or Maggie, which I generally pick up from their email addresses. Sometimes, I delete the comments, and if I am in a really bad mood, I actually mark them as what they really are: SPAM.
