I was looking at a website today. Nothing much new there, LOL. See, I’ve been eyeballing digital picture frames for quite awhile, because of how many pictures I take. I mean, is there a better way to show off digital pics than with a digital picture frame? The spender in me says no. The saver says at least wait until they go on sale! The mom in me just says awwwwwwwwwww.
I really do like that you can load these frames with multiple shots, so that your frame is rotating through the pictures. And the larger ones come with a memory card, so there’s no added expense, and you can use it just as quickly as you can click, drag and drop. Hmm, I need at least 8, don’t you think? Maybe ten, because I do take pictures of stuff that’s not my kids, LOL! I know that’s hard to believe, but it’s true!

Getting it Done

So, I had my shoes on, my purse on my shoulder, 2 kids in tow, and I shouted over my shoulder, “honey, I’m going to Wal-mart.” And he said–”can you wait 10 minutes? This toilet is clogged.” And with those words, the world came to a screeching halt, because in this house, a clogged toilet is a disaster of epic proportions.
So, here I am, sitting in my usual spot, doing what I do best: nattering on. And on. And on.

We all hope that our kids will never get in the kind of trouble that causes them to need addiction treatment. But I’ve heard that there are no guarantees that your child will not end up experimenting with drugs, and maybe even using. That’s right. No matter your income level, educational background, parenting style it can happen to your kids.
There’s a thing I’ve said when dealing with growth problems in my babies: when our babies need help, we help them. We’re parents, so that’s what we do. And that applies no matter what the problem is, doesn’t it? Now, I don’t know all the latest info on addiction treatment, but that’s ok, I don’t have to. Instead, I can just remember 4rehabilitation.com, and they DO know it. And if I should ever need to help one of my children with a drug issue, they can help me do so.

Umm, I got distracted from the planning by the prospect of creative endeavors. So I whipped up a wee dress for Drama. I let her try it on real quick, and this is what I saw:

She really did like it, I promise!

And the geo-targeting technology that allows moms and dads to find the items they want to buy within a one-mile radius of their driveways is priceless.

Bad news: I dont have any sort of calendar to write my plans in except the one I am using for work.
Good news: I get to go to WalMart.
Bad news: I don’t know when.
Good news: All the boys passed their sports physicals.
Bad news: Batman has a serious hearing deficiency.
Good news: He’s got a referral to a specialist.
Bad news: Umm, no, we’re done, there isn’t any more.

Well, I just ordered a slew of stuff from Amazon, all musician and artist related. When they get here I may just put them all in a basket, ans set them on the entertainment center. We’ve got a dvd, 4 cd’s and 3 books! It’ll be like one of those holiday gift baskets, only educational. Get back to work instead of get well soon, ya know?? And instead of tasty treats to eat, we’ll have eye candy and ear….something. Our artist for the term is DaVinci, and so the books and movie are related to that. The composers are Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin and Mussorgsky. I also took the opportunity to order Rhapsody In Blue/An American In Paris.
I think after I get done today, I will need a “good job” gift basket. My head is spinning already!

The posts will be thick today. I am working on lesson plans, and I’ll be posting about that through out the day. I’m hoping the info will be helpful to someone somewhere someday. Maybe even you, maybe even today.
