Let’s talk about Navtej Kohli. This guy is all over the internet. He’s hooked himself up all over the social networking: Navtej Kohli, Navtej Kohli, Navtej Kohli, Navtej Kohli, and Navtej Kohli. See what I mean? And there are others I didn’t even link to!

Don’t you just love the glimmer of pure gold? Well, I guess I shouldn’t say pure gold, because many of us have never seen pure gold. It’s too soft to work with without adding a stronger metal to it! Nonetheless, when you are investing, you want to buy from a reputable dealer so you can be sure your gold is as pure as it can possibly be and still hold the shape it’s intended to have. Ingots, coins and bars are all beautiful to behold, and as an investment, you are pretty safe with gold.
Today, the beauty of a gold bar lies in its proven ability to diversify investments, protect wealth and preserve one’s purchasing power
Yeah, that’s true, but I still like to look at it!

There are times in life when things just spin out of control. Maybe you get an injury and miss work, or your car rattles to it’s unresurrectable death, and must be replaced. Or your hot water heater springs a leak, floods your house, and causes structural damage. Whatever the reason you may find your self in a bind, student loan consolidation is an alternative that can ease the current pinch.

Do you ever want to run away? I admit I sometimes do. Do you hate me now? Or love me more for being honest? Anyway, sometimes an Orlando vacation rental is awfully tempting. I think it’s liable to be a little hot right now, but next winter, maybe. So, I’ve fooled you: Just a little bit of on topic stuff right smack in the middle of off topic Saturday.

Ok, I have a question. I think it’s a reasonable question, but I guess I could be wrong. It would be a first for me though, LOL! If you already have a pick-up truck, then why do you need a ladder rack? Can’t you just put the ladder in the bed of the truck? Yeah, I thought so. Told you it was a reasonable question!

Now, those of you that read my other blogs are probably used to me making snide remarks about my lack-of-hiney. In fact, I alluded to it when I called the changing pad in my new bag a seat cushion. Well, I saw something tonight that might help me out, and it’s a padded panty. I feel vindicated to know that in a day where thin is in, other ladies might also want a plush tush. Hey, be careful on that site. I’m not responsible if you get an eyeful if you wander away from the page I linked you to.

Ha! I looked earlier at some home theater seating. I laughed when I found out my family alone could more than qualify for a bulk discount. ROFL!! I sometimes say about grocery shopping that “family size packages mean we only have to by 2 or 3, instead of 4 or 5.” I’ve come to expect that we’ll buy food in bulk, but chairs??? That threw me just a bit.

Does anybody have some tips for cordless phones? My cordless phone battery stopped holding a charge. I unplugged it from the outlet it was in (at an angle) and plugged it in (flat) and it seems to be doing better now. My question is two-fold: do you think that was the problem? and is there anything I should do to recondition the battery?

My pal Laura posted today about an accident her daughter had. If you have kids (I assume you do, since you are here) and they like to play on slides, her post is a must read. While you are there, check out the rest of her blog, too. She’s another Mother of Many. Laura tells it like it is and doesn’t pull any punches. She has 5 children, and that number includes 2 set of twins.

A few weeks ago, I posted about a cool Eddie Bauer diaper bag at withcharacterkids.com. What I didn’t mention at the time was that as part of that post, I was offered one of those diaper bags. It was right after I got my laptop, and I knew I would need a bag for it, and you know I am an “ouuta the box” thinker. I grabbed a ruler, took a few measurements, and gave a great big internal “YES!!!” I got the bag yesterday, and it’s perfect!
It’s got pockets for bottles the extra batteries, power cord, and mouse. It’s got a changing pad seat cushion. It a bckpack, so I can tote it and something else. There’s even room for a book in there, and a pouch to hold my note cards and pens.
Here’s picture to show it off, and yes the laptop actually fits all the way in there. I just wanted to prove that it was in there, so I left it hanging out a bit.

I recommend this bag for babies, and for laptops. Thanks WithCharacterKids and PayPerPost.
