The Ghost Hermit Part I

The Ghost Hermit by Diva
It was 12:43 pm n Friday the 13th and a full moon hung over the Fort Fisher Hermit’s Stone. Suddenly a ghostly figure moved along the shoreline.
It walked along the shore, but then quite suddenly it turned and started “walking” up towards the cave-like structure half way up the beach.
Up along the beach, a couple, Bailey and Michel, watched the ghost proceed into the small cave. They were just out for a romantic walk, they had no idea what they would come across. Michel, being the daring football player he was, wanted to investigate. “Come on, let’s get a closer look”. he said, grabbing Bailey’s hand and starting to quietly walk along the beach. They got to the small entry way to the oval-shaped cave and peered inside. There they saw the ghost cutting a ghostly loaf of bread, and spreading butter on it. The ghost then sat down at the table to eat. Then after he was done he got up, snd walked towards the door. Then Bailey did not move fast enough and he walked right through her. She turned very pale and passed out, but Michel could do nothing to help her for he was quite transfixed by the ghost, which had gone down to where the water was coming up along the beach. He sat and put his feet in the water, the water went right through them though. Michel walked around beside him, and stuck out a cold hand, that too went right through the ghost. The quite suddenly the ghost began to cry, his shoulders shaking with the strength of his sobs. Michel then woke from his stupor, and ran back to Bailey, who was just beginning to wake up. He shook her shoulders and then picked her up. And briskly walked back to his car, he then sped to the nearest police station to tell them of what he saw. Of course no one believed him……the next morning when he was in the coffee shop with Bailey arguing over whether what they saw was real or not. “It had to be! You saw it, it walked right through me Michel!”, she said, her frustration and confusion making her eyes water.
