Hi there. Again.

So, once again, it has been forever since I posted. There have been lots of changes here at the MotheringMany household. But then, change is pretty constant, right? And that’s god, because the alternative to change is decomposition, which is a change in and of itself, I guess, but not one I want to experience just yet. Anyway, change. It’s a good thing, usually. Maybe. LOL.

This past week, the older kids and I have been re-doing the living room. We are opening it up even wider, by collapsing and redistributing the library. I like it so far, but I did take the collapsing part a bit too literally: I ended up busting one bookcase completely! Diva had just stepped away from the front of it when the books came tumbling down!

In other news, I am getting used to working outside the home. Standing up all day is a new sensation, I tell ya! I feel like I ought to invest in walking boots for support and comfort, but I chose a couple pairs of cute black shoes instead. We’ll see how long it takes me to regret that choice!

The kids are also adapting to me working, The little ones are a bit more loving than they had been and the older ones are a bit more sullen. I guess its pretty much normal. Ok, I need to get back to my guacamole. Homemade, even. With tomatoes and onions. I made some earlier this week, and it was so good, I decided on an encore. Slurp!

Change is always good! It brings a bresh of fresh air to your everyday life. I always embrace it. I’m glad your kids are helping you with the re-doing of your living room… They will surely use this knowledge in the future! And guacamole… yum! I think I’m out of avocados but otherwise I’d be making it this very second!
