You know, I had to go to the post office the other day to mail a real and true paper letter to someone. It was an event so out of the ordinary that I took a picture in order to make a blog post about it on my other blog. BTW, if you don’t read over there, you should. I’m taking a picture a day and telling the story behind it. It’s kinda fun, if you are the type of person who likes to glimpse into the lives of others. But back to the subject.

It was such an extraordinary thing because of the amount of stuff I do online and by phone. I rarely use snail mail for anything. I get plenty of junk that way, but I don’t send much out. You can pay premiums on your life insurance online, you can order groceries online, you can even place an order at several retail stores online, and they will pull your merchandise for pick up. How cool is that?

So yeah, going to the post office warranted a picture.
