Bigger is not Necessarily Better

6:52 pm Stuff to Buy

1873s7You know how when you are a brand new parent of one brand new baby, you pack the entire dresser to go to the mailbox? BTDT, had the backaches to prove it. These days, I am all about the bare necessities, and that means a much smaller diaper bag, like this one from bundle me. See, it’s small, and that means it’s light. And I like light. Light means that, potentially, they can carry it themselves. And then I would just be stuck with my purse, the snacks, a stack of books, and………

Oh, was I dreaming again? Sorry. My attention was momentarily captivated by the little charmer next to me. She was standing there, saying “mom mine mom mine mom mine” while I tried to eat my supper. Do you see how hard my life is?

Bigger is not necessarily better indeed… just notice how smaller cellphones, laptops, desktops and even mp3 players have become. They will nod in agreement with this article.

Yeah. I remember. I remember each child having a to-go bag I’d keep packed with things like an extra outfit, a zip bag of cheerios or some other cereal, wipes, diapers/undies (whichever was needed), bottle of juice or water, and some kind of small game like Travel Bingo (that was their favorite). The extra clothes were especially necessary for E, who tended to throw up on even a short trip into town, and on everything around her! It was either that, or buy clothes when we got to town! (BTDT)

I only emptied the bags to wash the clothes in them and restock right away so I could just pick up and go when I needed to..lol.
